How much does it cost?
Pricing begins at $200 per person and depends on the size of the party, the choice of menu, and other factors. Please contact me to discuss your event and its specific pricing in more detail.
What do you do with the proceeds?
After covering costs, I donate all proceeds to Latet, a non-profit in Israel that provides meal kits to Holocaust survivors and food-insecure families.
Will what will I need to provide?
Not much, other than space in your kitchen. A week before the dinner, I will send you a simple checklist of things I will need, such as ensuring there’s some free space in your fridge, a working oven, an empty dishwasher etc.
Will you be willing to sign an NDA to protect my guests’ privacy?
Yes. Given the sensitive nature of dinner-table discussions, respecting the privacy of his guests is one of my highest priorities.
Do you have references?
I have many happy clients who would be happy to provide a reference.
Can I customize the menu?
Yes. When organizing the event, we will review the menu together and discuss any changes you would like to make.
Do you offer cooking classes?
Indeed! I offer classes to groups of up to six people in:
Shakshuka and the Israeli breakfast
Pasta from scratch, including tortellini, agnolotti, and ravioli
Breads, including sourdough, focaccia, and brioche
Baking 101: fundamental techniques, chocolate and macadamia cookies, seasonal loaf cakes, and pavlovas
Baking 102: sable shell tarts, pastry creams, jams, mousse cakes and ganaches
What kind of ingredients do you use?
I cook with locally-sourced ingredients from distributors I trust and have built a relationship with. As a result, ingredients are always of the finest quality and (normally) organic. I also grow many of the ingredients myself, in my garden (without pesticides).
What’s the cancellation policy?
I spend considerable time planning each dinner and will purchase all ingredients for your specific dinner. Also, once your event is booked, I will respectfully decline other offers for the same date. To that end, 100% of the price will be requested if the event is cancelled within seven days of the event.
